From First Steps to Finish Lines
These one-on-one sessions are designed to identify and correct faulty movement patterns that may be contributing to pain, injury, or decreased performance.
We work with both recreational and competitive runners across all levels and distances—offering gait analyses for distance running and sprinting alike.
Your appointment will include outdoor video analysis for real-world accuracy, personalized feedback, and the opportunity to practice adjustments on the spot. Follow-up sessions are available to reinforce healthy habits and support ongoing progress.
Running assessments may also include injury rehab, footwear recommendations, return-to-run programming, and training advice. Danielle brings a wealth of experience as both a Certified Provider through The Running Clinic and an NCCP-certified track and field coach.

FAQs
If weather conditions prevent a proper outdoor gait analysis (e.g., heavy rain, snow, or fog), we will contact you ahead of time with the choice to reschedule or move your session indoors to the hallway outside the clinic. In light rain, we would proceed with the outdoor portion—we just ask that you dress accordingly.
The Gait Analysis would be billed as a physiotherapy assessment, so the amount covered depends on your coverage for physiotherapy services.

"I can’t recommend Christine highly enough! During my pregnancy, she worked wonders for my pelvic floor health and helped me address pubic symphysis pain before it worsened… …She created a safe and comfortable environment where I felt truly cared for. My group of mom friends have all seen her as well!..."
-Leanna H.
“Christine is an excellent physio! She has treated injuries for both my husband and myself, and we always see improvement. She also took care of my PT during both my pregnancies and got me back into the gym feeling confident and ready. She is so kind and thoughtful. Thanks Christine!”

“Christine supported me through 2 pregnancies and c-section recoveries. Highly recommended for both pelvic floor and general physiotherapy. She's great at explaining what is going on and I felt comfortable even when working on my pelvic floor. Worth driving across the city for!”
For Recreational & Competitive Runners
Whether you're recovering from a running injury or chasing a personal best, a running gait analysis can help you move more efficiently and comfortably.
What to Expect
Running Gait Analysis:
1. We will start with a review of your running history, including your training routine and any injuries.
2. Then we will head outside to observe and film your running gait on the sidewalk adjacent to the clinic. We will record you from various angles and provide you with immediate feedback as well as time to practise any new gait adjustments suggested.
3. Afterwards, we will send you a summary of your findings, including your cadence, footstrike, and key areas for improvement.
4. Follow-up sessions will include technique reviews and further modifications to your running mechanics or rehab plan as needed.
What to Expect
Sprinting Gait Analysis:
1. Your session begins with a review of your sprint training goals and any relevant injuries.
2. We will then move outside, where we will guide you through an appropriate warm-up before filming your sprinting gait from multiple angles. You will receive real-time feedback and a chance to trial gait adjustments during the session.
3. Afterwards, you will receive a summary of our findings, outlining your cadence, footstrike, and areas for improvement.
4. Follow-ups will focus on refining sprinting mechanics and adjusting your rehab or training plan as needed.
